CABY recently hosted a transformative workshop at its headquarters, centered on the theme “Raising Awareness Among Youths on Environmental Protection and Drug Abuse.” This event brought together young people from various communities, along with educators, health professionals, and environmental advocates, to address two critical issues facing Cameroon today: the need to protect our environment and the growing threat of drug abuse among the youth.
The workshop featured interactive sessions, expert talks, and group discussions aimed at educating participants about sustainable practices and the dangers of substance abuse. Attendees were encouraged to take actionable steps within their communities, both to safeguard natural resources and to support peers in making healthy, drug-free lifestyle choices.
This workshop is part of CABY’s ongoing commitment to empowering the youth of Cameroon, fostering a culture of responsibility, and driving positive change across the nation.
