Annual Impact Report 2024: 1,200 Youth Reached Across 8 Regions
CAbyYouths is proud to present our 2024 Annual Impact Report — a comprehensive account of the work our team, volunteers, partners, and supporters have made possible over the past twelve months.
2024 was the most impactful year in our organisation's history. Here are the headline numbers:
- 1,200+ young Cameroonians directly reached through our programmes
- 48 projects and activities completed
- 12 partner organisations and institutions engaged
- 8 regions with active CABY presence
- 50 scholarships awarded
- 30 youth entrepreneurs trained and supported

Programme Highlights
Education & Scholarships: The 2024 scholarship cohort was our largest yet — 50 young people supported, 28 of whom are young women. We also launched a new tutoring and academic mentorship stream, pairing 80 secondary school students with university-level mentors.
Drug Abuse Awareness: Our flagship prevention campaign reached 800+ youth across three regions, trained 45 peer counsellors, and delivered sessions in 22 schools. Early data suggests a measurable increase in refusal self-efficacy among participants.
Entrepreneurship: Two cohorts of the Entrepreneurship Workshop produced 30 graduates; five received seed grants through the CABY Youth Business Fund. Combined, their businesses have created 12 new employment opportunities in their communities.
Canada Partnership: Our cross-border collaboration with the Cameroonian diaspora in Canada delivered its most substantial programme yet — a two-week hybrid vocational bootcamp for 60 youth in Bamenda. Eight participants have since launched businesses.
Financial Accountability
CAbyYouths operated with full transparency in 2024. 87% of all funds received went directly to programme delivery. Administrative costs were kept at 13% — well below the sector benchmark of 20%. Our full financial statements are available in the Documents section.
