The Horizon Bilingual Complex in Douala invited the Cameroonian Association for the Betterment of Youths (CABY) to discuss the dangers of drug consumption and abuse with their students. Represented by the CEO, CABY addressed approximately 1,500 students on campus, delivering a powerful message about the impact of drug abuse on students’ health, education, and society. CABY emphasized that drug abuse not only harms students’ mental and physical well-being but also leads to risky behaviors. These behaviors can increase the likelihood of contracting illnesses, such as HIV/AIDS, due to impaired decision-making under the influence of drugs.
