The campaign aimed at tackling the rising concerns about drug abuse and its correlation with at-risk behaviors and the spread of HIV/AIDS. CABY’s team shared alarming statistics on drug abuse and educated students on the tactics often used to lure youths into drug use. They also highlighted the consequences of addiction, including increased vulnerability to risky behaviors. During the session, CABY provided students with simulations, practical tools, and strategies to build resilience and make informed decisions, empowering them to resist peer pressure and the challenges associated with drug abuse.
Additionally, CABY incorporated awareness on cultural diversity, stressing the importance of respecting and valuing the varied cultural backgrounds within the youth community. They encouraged students to embrace inclusivity and unity while honoring their heritage. In the area of environmental protection, CABY highlighted the impact of pollution and poor waste management on community health, urging students to adopt sustainable practices. Lastly, CABY addressed illegal immigration, discussing the risks involved and emphasizing the importance of seeking lawful and safe opportunities for the future.
